(no subject)

Who: Chrome
When: T-10 seconds to emotional whiplash
What: Worlds crumble and she ends up...not home. Again.

It happened between one breath and the next. She'd been in the eternal Autumn of her old new-world performing a leap during spear practise, and come down on concrete hard enough to make her stumble and bash her knee. That wasn't what had her sit on the ground and cry, however. She wept because reaching for healing magic failed but her power boiled up at her touch. Her power took the place of the Elo to keep her alive, her power allowed her to cover her scars, her power. Illusion at her fingertips and joy in her heart...yet Mukuro was still not here. Her mind was still bleeding out for him, and that mitigated her joy and made her sorrow.

So she wept, both in joy and in sorrow, while playing illusions around herself on the ground.

He thought about the particulars of a residence, "I suppose, if I were to think about it, I would like a place with books and bookshelves for them. A bed would be necessary."

Perhaps he should see if there was a library and move a bed into it. Or he could move the library to wherever he choose to live.

"I should be able to read them," he said. And if not, it would be a challenge. But she gave him an idea. "Write a book?" What would he write about, the only writing he had ever done was his personal journal.

He was quite for a moment thinking about it. He did not want to write biographies of Thor, Sif, and the Warriors Three. If he were to write it would need to be... fiction. He had not been one to read stories of pure imagination, but his would not be. He would draw upon his experiences to write stories of new characters. He was a little excited about the prospect, using his skill with words and lies in another way.

"Then I shall try to write a book," he said, finally.

If he was not who he was he would have blushed at the praise. Instead he hoped to live up to it. He never shared any of his writings before, save when required by his many teachers growing up and sometimes with his mother who never really needed to see them.

"Do you wish to continue training your abilities while we are here?" he asked. Of course, he was going to have to exercise, even if this world seemed rather barren of life (though apparently had dinosaurs) Loki was not going to let his abilities waste away.

He smiled slightly, remembering the nightmare of hers that he had ended up in and more specifically, what her illusions could do.

"Perhaps you can teach me as well," he said. A good teacher often learned from their students, too.

"And," he began, "it reaffirms knowledge you have already aquire to pass it on to another."

He grinned down at the girl. So he would write and teach while he was here, unless something came up... or got bored and decided to try some chaos.
